Christmas in Riviere-Du-Loup, Quebec

Christmas already? Wasn’t I surprised when I heard Christmas music and looked outside to see elves, reindeer, Santa and Mrs. Claus in a parade going all through the campground. It was Christmas in July!

I thought this must have something to do with the Christmas house that was across the street from the campsite, but apparently this is something many campsites do for the kids in the campground every July.

Still I took the opportunity to photograph the Christmas House at twilight.

  1. How can you make beautiful images of such a cheesy place? ;)

Nice images Anne. It’s not just you. I was watching the Today show and they had the Rockettes dancing to Christmas music. Unbelieveable.

Anne – truly Christmas in July! However, the weather and temperatures weren’t so bad, I bet!

  4. Um, wow; it’s kind of weird seeing Christmas pictures of Quebec with no snow!! I just love your images Anne, the colors are great and the details are so sharp. Tons for the viewer to really take in and enjoy. Great pictures!
