I made this image during my visit to Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge in Florida.
Just a reminder that I have very limited internet access this week but I have scheduled these images to go up on the blog for you to enjoy.

Very cool looking bird, and another great reflection shot! Well done.
Hope you have been safely south of the path of the tornadoes that roared through the US midwest these last few days – the TV footage showed horrendous destruction.

Hi Laurie, thank you very much for your comments. Yes, we were watching the tornadoes on the radar on our ipad and finding out where the shelter was, but alas they went just north of us. I was so glad because you can’t take dogs in the shelter so I think I would have ended up staying in the truck with the dogs. We decided the truck was better than the RV. They have some scary weather down here! It might be grey and rainy at home, but at least we don’t get any extreme weather.
Another real beauty, Anne. The “mirror image” is fantastic. Nice job!

Thank you very much Mark, it was a great morning for photographing the birds.
Another beauty – the way those ‘toes’ are virtually touching is magical. Stunning work, Anne

Hi Andy, I’m glad you mentioned that because I really liked the thing with the toes too! I always wonder if other people notice that stuff and you always pick up on these details. Much appreciated.
Wow Anne – two spectacular bird reflections in a row! Very nice photos!
