Today’s photograph is a high dynamic range image of Turret Arch at Arches National Park in Utah. I made this image by combining three exposures in Photomatix.

In post processing I used the “color stylizer” filter in Nik Color Efex Pro to desaturate the colours and add a sepia tone. Maybe I have been seeing too much red rock and blue sky, which do look great together, but I have discovered that I quite like the tonal quality when I desaturate the natural colours and add the sepia.

Hi Len, it is such a cool place isn’t it? I have to admit not hiking out to some arches in other parks because I knew I was coming here were they are so much easier to access. Thanks for your comments.
