Spring Flowers from Pinnacles National Park

Ahhhh, spring!

Time is going by so fast now that we’re back home in British Columbia, so before spring is over I want to share with you a few photos of wildflowers I made back in April in Pinnacles National Park in California.

I'm not sure what kind of flower this is. Does anyone know?

Anne, your photos are, as always, so very awesome! Thank you for sharing.

Those are beautiful shots with nice use of shallow DOF. I believe the last flowers are Indian Warriors.

These are lovely Anne! I particularly like the subtle toning in the first two.

Nice! I don’t know my California wildflowers, so I’d be willing to bet QT is right, but it looks like Indian Paintbrush, a flower we have here in Jackson Hole. Since it’s a different environment, I bet QT is right and it’s probably just a variant of ours.

What’s in your camera bag? Equipment you use? Favorites and why? What will you not leave home without? Is this information in a past newsletter?

    • Hi Mark, I don’t actually have that much equipment because I cannot carry very much with my bad back. My camera is a Canon 7D, I have a 10-20mm, 24-105, and 70-300, plus 500D close up filter. I don’t leave home without my tripod most of the time :) Thanks for your visit and comments.
