I recently completed certification testing at BetterPhoto. The BetterPhoto certification program is recognized as having the most respected and successful professional instructors with precise lessons that will improve your performance. The program consists of 32 weeks of instruction from well known and seasoned professional photographers. I have taken classes with Tony Sweet, Jim Zuckerman, Brenda Tharp, Kerry Dragar and William Neil. The final exam requires submission of a portfolio containing 20 images that meet specific technical requirements.
Heh, congratulations Anne! this sounds great!
I know about betterphoto.com, but I never tried it myself, but just by looking at the programs, they seem pretty serious and all.
How did you feel about the learning experience ? π Was it good enough?
BTW, I hope you will post the 20 photos that you have chosen for your final exam somewhere on the web, so we can see them as well.
Have a lovely week,
Bogdan
Hi Bogdan,
I really like Better Photo. The lessons are great, but the best part is having your photos critiqued by the pros. They give really detailed critiques and you have an opportunity to make changes or upload new versions for feedback. Also everyone in the class comments on each others photos and you can see the instructors comments on other student photos as well so you learn from everyone.
I should have taken a screenshot of the photo thumbnails with the description underneath them that said which technique was used. I dont think I can get at that now. But all the photos are somewhere on my redbubble gallery.
Nice to hear from you! Take care.
Anne.
Congrats, Anne!
Your portfolio over at the BetterPhoto site, as the one here, is stunning. Looking for an apprentice by any chance? π
An apprentice? Wow, that’s a real compliment if you think I’m good enough to have an apprentice π Thank you very much for your comments Terry I really appreciate it!
