Time for a refresh. Maybe I was just sick of looking at the old blog. I am visually oriented after all. But with all this talk of a new year and new goals and new everything I decided it was time for a new look. It still needs a little tweaking here and there and I am excited about adding some new features soon as well. There will be more tips and tutorials coming as well as gear and book reviews. And of course there will be more trip reports as I continue to explore.
Every month my readership continues to grow which has inspired me to focus more on my writing this coming year. This new design is one step towards building my new bigger blog. Thank you friends for coming here to read my stories and view my photos and for following me on Twitter and Facebook. Your encouragement means very much to me as I continue on my journey.
I would be happy to hear your feedback on the new design. To leave a comment, click the “read more” button below. Even though there isn’t any more to read. But that’s the only way to get to the comments. One of those things that still needs tweaking…
I like the new design. Not a theme I have previously seen, some of them tend to be repeated a lot. The only thing I noticed is that even on a 24inch monitor the size of the header (when not viewing the first post directly) pushes the first post well down the page. This showcases the content there nicely but maybe not the latest blog post. Looks good overall though. 🙂
This is really great Anne, very unique!
