Before I get going on stories and images from my trip across North America, I need to catch up on some old business and finish off my recent images from Seattle.
Seattle is quickly becoming one of my favourite places to photograph. I absolutely love the variety of architecture from the wild Experience Music Project museum designed by Frank Gehry (great place to go if you are a Jimmy Hendrix fan), to the modern buildings downtown, to the old buildings in Pioneer Square. Wonderful cityscapes can be had from Kerry Park on Queen Anne Hill and seascapes with the city in the background from Elliott Bay.
Some of the photos were a result of winning the Clipper Vacations photo contest, twice! Both times I won a trip for 2 from Victoria to Seattle (or visa versa). However, I was only able to use one set of tickets. The other tickets I still hold in my hand with no time left to take the trip. They expire in December 2011. So the question is what to do with them. I am thinking of having a facebook/twitter contest, but the only problem is the tickets are only of value to people living in or near Seattle or Victoria. I would be interested if anyone has any suggestions on how I could make use of the tickets. Is a facebook/twitter contest a good idea?

Great portfolio of Seattle images Anne, good work!
Wow, that photo of the skyline is phenomenal! So crisp and well-lit!
I really love Seattle; I think if the weather wasn’t so depressing we might actually consider living there eventually. 🙂
