Man, the weather changes fast in Glacier National Park! I was warned. I did my research and found many people giving the advice to take your rain gear no matter what the weather when you leave.
In this photo, a young girl is fishing on the dock at Lake MacDonald just as a storm starts to roll in. Usually I try to avoid people in my photographs, but sometimes a person adds a sense of scale.
Can you believe this photo was taken only 10 minutes later?
Amazing weather change Anne. I was there a few years back and great weather on my way down from Waterton. Got one good afternoon and bad weather the rest of my stay. Still a wonderful place and your shot makes me want to go back.
Wow, that is just crazy! As you well know, we get some pretty weird stuff here, too, on the island… but not really like that! Great images, Anne, I am with you on the people thing… but these pictures benefit greatly from their inclusion, that’s for sure. *waves from Van Isle*
Wow…that backdrop is amazing! Beautiful images Anne!
I love good storms! The clouds can be amazing for photosshoots! These images are really beaufiful!
I love the weather contrast from one photo to the next.
