From Quebec, we drove to New Brunswick and found a beautiful campsite right on the Saint John River. The weather was sunny and warm during the day, and in the evening the thunderclouds would roll in and the rain and lightening would come.
This is very different from home in British Columbia when the rain comes and stays for weeks or months. Here at least we were getting a nice day followed by exciting storms in the evenings.
I took these shots during a break in the evening storm when a rainbow appeared on the other side of the river.
Waterfront campsites are always a treat, but this particular one was one of the best. It was called “Cosy Cabins” in Woodstock, New Brunswick.
