I was hoping to capture some of the changing colours of fall leaves while in Acadia National Park in Maine. However I was a bit too early for the colours and the wind kept me from photographing much foliage at all.
So I leave you today with two more images from Jordan Creek.

Next week I will have some fall colours from New Hampshire and Virginia to share with you as I make my way to Shenandoah National Park and down the Appalachian trail. I hope you have a great weekend.
Thank you to all of you who helped me make some difficult image selections this week. Why am I making image selections in the first place? Well … it’s a project I am working on that will be ready in the next month or so. I can’t wait to share it with you!
Just love the first image Anne. Great composition and very serene.
Thanks Len, I really appreciate your comments. And I can’t wait to find out how you found Darth Vader!!!
Beautiful Anne. Really love the first shot.
Thanks again Edith!
Nice work, Anne. Still too early for color in Maine? I thought it would’ve already been long gone.
Hi Alan, It was around October 10th when I was there (my blog posts are always about 2 weeks behind my current location). At the time I was a bit early for the fall colours. I’m sure it is long gone by now. Thanks for the comment!
Beautiful scene. You have a great eye for nature.
Awww, thanks 🙂 You are too kind.
Beautiful colors again!
Thanks Uwe!
Beautiful images Anne! I look forward to seeing next weeks fall colors!
Thanks Curt. Unfortunately the next week didn’t go so well for me and the fall colours. Rain and wind together make for difficult conditions. I wish I had a better report!
Gorgeous shot, Anne. The first looks so peace full.
Thank you Jan, much appreciated!
