Red Sky in the Morning…
I made this image at sunrise on Driftwood Beach on Jekyll Island. Please click the image to view a larger version.
Well, as you can tell from the last 8 or so posts, I really enjoyed my time in Georgia. I just know I will go back someday.
This will be my last blog post this week since I am now going to a campsite inside Everglades National Park in Florida and I will not have internet access again until next week, when I will be bringing you some images from the sunshine state. Enjoy the rest of your week!
Stunning Anne. That red is brilliant. I’ve really enjoyed you’re Georgia images.
Thank you so much Edith, I was trying to photograph the driftwood but that bright line at the top of the cloud kept pulling me away.
Tremendous blood red. The rays arcing out from the cloud are superb – I think they are called crepuscular rays. And these are spectacular.
Hi Andy, thanks again for your comments. That red was quite a sight to see and it kept drawing me away (I was trying to photograph something else). Those sunrise moments are always so short it is not easy to choose between equally good subjects. Well there could be worse problems I suppose!
Great colors Anne. Have a great tim win the Everglades.
Thanks Len! Sorry for the late reply, I didn’t have internet while camping in the everglades, but I did have a great time. And I got lots of bites to show for it.
amazing photos! keep on sharing and inspiring people!
cheers!
…TREK…
Hi Icedgurl, thank you so much for your comments. I’m glad you are enjoying the images, it makes me happy to think I might be inspiring others.
How fabulous is this! GREAT shot, Anne! Best wishes with your journey down south, this is definitely the time of year to head in that direction!
Hi Toad, thanks again for your comments. Yes, I feel slightly guilty to be enjoying this 25 degree weather when you are all wet and cold back home. It’s hard to believe that Christmas is coming.
Gorgeous, Anne! That thin line of backlit clouds really makes this image pop for me. I’ve really enjoyed your Georgia photos & look forward to the Everglades.
Hi Laurie, thank you so much, I’m really glad you enjoyed the photos from Georgia. I think it is one of my favourite places so far, I will definitely return.
Can’t wait to see your images from the Glades…
