Are you starting to think I want to be a wildlife photographer? Well, I really do actually, but it is going to take years of practice.
I’m still working on my quest to show you at least one image of each of the bird species I photographed in Everglades National Park but it is more a testament to the amount of wildlife in the park rather than my skills as a wildlife photographer. There are just so many opportunities, it is much easier than trying to capture wildlife anywhere else I have been.
Today’s image is a Red Shouldered Hawk. It just flew right in front of me as I hiked along one of the trails.

If you, too, want to practice your skills photographing wildlife, Everglades National Park is the place to do it.
I want to know more about you
You know all about me. You’ve seen the world through my eyes, you know about my mid-life crisis and my tiny living quarters. Now I would like to know more about you!
Many of my newsletter subscribers have already completed a short survey to help me understand who my readers are and what you want so that I can improve my blog and bring you the best value for the time you spend here.
I understand that my newsletter subscribers are only one segment of my readers and I would like a complete picture. If you have not already done so, would you give me 2 minutes of your time to complete this very short 9 question multiple choice survey?
Sure, I’ll help out by taking the survey
Thank you!
