White Mountains National Forest in New Hampshire is definitely on my list of places I want to return to.
What they say about the fall colours in New England is true. It’s like no other place.
I made this image somewhere along the way at a pond whose name I don’t remember.
I do remember that it was very windy and I wasn’t having much luck with my images of the trees. So I decided to go for a more abstract look with this image of the reflection of the trees in the pond.

I have a guest blog post on the Digital Photography School today!
It’s called “Sharing Your Photography On the Web” and it contains excerpts from my latest eBook.
I am so honoured to have been asked to write a post for this very popular photography blog. Please check it out and give it a “like”. I would also love to hear your comments on it. I’ll be standing by at the Digital Photography School to reply to the comments.
I love this picture!
Thank you very much Berta!
Wonderful fall abstract Anne
I appreciate that Len, thanks!
Hello and fantastic article in DPS. That is how I ended up on your site. I am new to photography and even newer to having my own website. I really like the layout, style, and feel of your site. I have a similar nomadic lifestyle as an international airline pilot and was interested in the where am I now google map on the right side of your blog page. I would like to do something similar. Is it a widget?
Your opening gallery is very sharp as well. Images are fantastic and I really like the presentation is it a NeXtgen gallery?
Again thanks for the article and very nice website!
Hi Ed, welcome!! An airline pilot, very cool. I had a look at your website but I see you’re just getting started. I love the name “roaming lens”.
The google map is a wordpress widget called “simple google static map”. Once installed it is really easy to use and you can set the zoom level, which is nice. The opening gallery on the home page is part of my wordpress theme which I got from graph paper press. They have fantastic minimalist themes, many of them designed specifically for photographers.
Thanks for the compliment on my article at DPS. It was quite an honour to get the guest post over there and I’ve been asked to be a regular writer there so you’ll be seeing more of me over there too.
Thanks for dropping by my site and feel free to ask any more website questions if you like. I’ll try to help if I can.
There’s always a plan B isn’t there, or at least there should be! Love this abstract Anne. Wind adds interest to reflections like this and you’ve exploited that so well. Gorgeous colours.
Adorable! Love the motion and attitude you captured!!
Hello…this is my first visit here. I love what I see…amazing!! Great blog. I am your newest follower and looking forward to seeing more.
