Everyone wants to be a better photographer. It doesn’t matter whether you’re just starting out or you’re a seasoned pro, we all want to improve.
But it’s hard to know exactly where to invest your time and money. One thing’s for sure: photography isn’t cheap!
The camera, lenses and tripod alone are a big investment, let alone the accessories and the software. But there’s no point in having all that stuff if you don’t know how to use it.
And, you might be wondering if you really have the chops to make a go of it.
Well, I’ll share a secret with you: photography is a skill that can be learned.
When it comes to learning, you have a lot of options. There are all sorts of blog posts, YouTube videos, video courses, and ebooks out there – it’s a matter of doing the research to find the good ones.
Or, you could get your hands on a curated, ready-made photography education from experts who’ve been in your shoes, all for a ridiculously affordable price.
I’m proud to be part of putting together one of the most incredible bundles of photography teaching I’ve seen – it’s called the Ultimate Photography Bundle.
Why is it so incredible? Because of the huge smorgasbord of resources in it!
It’s not just about landscape and nature photography (although you will find lots of stuff in there on those topics). You’re going to be impressed when you see the wide variety of topics covered.
I’ve been using the bundle myself for a month or so, and while I’m not going to use everything that’s in it, the resources I’ve used so far have been fantastic. I’ve really been looking forward to sharing this with you because I think it will help transform your photography.
First, let’s take a quick look at the bundle, then I’ll show you 3 of the resources I think you’ll love.

Hi,
I am a keen amateur, looking to improve my skills. I do have a Nikon D90, which I love, but with arthritis in my hands, now find it heavy and awkward to use. For the way ahead, I have just bought a Nikon Coolpix b700. Will I truly benefit from this package, or any of your training books/videos using a Bridge camera?
Regards,
Chris
Hi Chris, I honestly believe that it is not about the camera. All cameras these days can make quality images. Its true that DSLRs and mirrorless cameras have larger sensors and therefore you will get higher quality from those technically speaking. But a skilled photographer can make great images with any camera.
If you understand how light works and what kinds of images to make under various lighting conditions, and you have a good understanding of the principles of composition, you’re way ahead of someone who doesn’t know those things but has an expensive camera. Also post processing makes a difference. I know a photographer who sells all kinds of prints of autumn scenes and she uses a point and shoot. It’s because her photos have great compositions, she photographs with beautiful light, and she’s skilled at post processing.
It’s just not about the gear. I hope that helps!
Anne,
Thank you for your rapid reply which certainly encourages me to carry on with my quest to improve. Am hoping that Luminar 2018 will help me with this ambition. Am now retired now, so time is not a problem.
Chris
You are welcome Chris. I’m really enjoying Luminar! If you haven’t already seen it, I did a review of it here: http://annemckinnell.com/2017/11/09/luminar-2018-supernova-review-and-video-demo/
Thx 4 sharing. Loved it.
Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
Hi Anne, Thanks for sharing! these will be of great use! What’s better than editing a photo? it’s when you don’t need to edit them, or if you do, you don’t need to edit them that much. And that’s where good lighting comes in. You have just shared a valuable resource and honestly, I believe it’s all worth the price! You are awesome Anne!
Hi Bethzy, Thanks, I’m glad you enjoyed it. The Ultimate Bundle isn’t for sale right now, but there is a 48 hour flash sale coming up very soon. If you are subscribed to my newsletter you’ll get notified when the sale is on.
