This collection was inspired by Galiano Island, one of British Columbia's Gulf Islands located in the protected waters between Vancouver Island and the mainland of Canada. A long skinny island with a fascinating rocky shoreline, Galiano is a peaceful place where many artists find inspiration.

The Galiano Texture Collection is a hand-painted watercolour collection that will add beautiful textures and details to your photographs. This collection works well to replace an entire background or to add additional detail and drama to a boring sky.

If you don't want to add a blue tone to your image, you can desaturate the image and still get all the benefit of the texture. Try adding a hue/saturation adjustment layer to change the colour and saturation of the texture for a variety of looks.
